Burr Hill, Virginia April 12th, 1989 after returning home at around 2pm after visiting her daughter. (Her children and Grandchildren all lived near by) It was the last time Ethel Kidd age 61 was ever seen alive again.
Her daughter phoned her the next morning and Ethel never answered and her daughter assumed that Ethel was on her way over for coffee. After about 2 hours of not showing up her daughter sent her husband over to Ethel's house to check on her. When he got to the house he found her car still parked in the driveway. When he approached the house he found a road atlas on the lawn. Then they found a piece of paper from a motel that had sexual material written on it. There was also on a piece of paper a plan of how to murder and where to select a location. Also on the paper was reference to assume a new identity.
Ethel's son inlaw entered the house which he found unusual as the door was unlocked and Ethel would always lock the door. Everything in the house looked normal and nothing seemed to be missing. Almost immediately a search party was formed to look for Ethel in the acres of fields and forrest where near her home. Nobody found any sign of Ethel.
Then 8 days later a man was hunting about 3 miles from her home and he came across one of the grossest sights I have ever heard of. Ethel Kidd's body was tied to a tree which was facing a logging road only 50 feet away. She had been raped, strangled, and dead for over a week. She had also been sodomised. Due to the lack of decomposition of the body it is believed that the killer held her in a freezer for some time before tying her to the tree. This was also an area heavily searched the week before.
Police believed at the time the killer asked Ethel for directions due to the atlas found on the lawn.
Facts about the case:
The cord used to tie Ethel to the tree was only used in hospitals and hotels it was not available to the public.
It was rumoured that before the murders the culprit had a note and was driving by woman and on the note he flashed at them in their cars it read "Pull over lets fuck".
Culprit: This case was solved due to being aired on Unsolved Mysteries. The murderer's name was Edward Wayne Beverly. Beverly's own sister Marsha Williams recognised his handwriting on the letters that were aired on the Unsolved mysteries. Beverly had lived in Burr Hill at the time of the murder but shortly left the area after it occurred. He was in prison in Tennessee when he was accused. But fingerprints and DNA evidence linked him to the crime. He was only a few months away from being released from prison until he was convicted and charged with 3 life sentences for kidnapping, sodomy, and murder. We are all very happy and glad to say that that piece of shit died in prison in 2008.
Beverly's Appeal: Attorney Roy D Bradley submitted a 31 page brief to the Virginia court of appeals claiming Beverly was wrongfully convicted because the judge excluded key evidence and experts. It was concluded with DNA evidence that there was only a 1 in 1.7 million chance that Beverly did not rape Ethel Kidd. This has to be one of the most bizarre and strangest mysteries I have ever read about. Blair Adams was a 31 resident of Vancouver, British Columbia. Who was found dead in a Knoxville, Tennessee parking lot in 1996 with no pants on his shirt ripped open and over $4,000 in different currency denominations surrounding him. The currency was Canadian, American, and German.
There were rumours that Blair was an ex drug addict he also battled alcoholism for a long time. But at the time of his disappearance he appeared to have cleaned himself up and had a great job as a foreman at a construction company which he apparently loved.
How it all started: On July 5th, 1996 Robert Dennis Blair Adams went and took all the money out of his savings account(over $6,000) along with thousands of dollars in gold and jewelry. He attempted to cross the US border but as a single man with all that money border guards assumed he was a drug dealer and was denied entry into the United States. So he headed back to Vancouver and quit his job the next day. Then went and bought a round trip ticket to Germany. He also later went to a friends house claiming someone was trying to kill him. (Probably a drug king pin could be HA who knows).
Then the next day he ditched his tickets to Germany and rented a car and this time was able to get across into the US and went to Seattle and bought a plane ticket to Washington, D.C. He got to D.C and rented a car (Toyota Camry) and ended up in Knoxville, Tennessee. While in Knoxville he went to fuel up the car and told the gas jockey that the keys did not work. When the gas jockey realised that the keys weren't even the keys for the car that Blair had Blair took off to a hotel.
While at the hotel the manager thought it was strange as Blair entered and exited the lobby 5 times before renting a room. Below is surveillance from the hotel
After getting a key for the room (which he never even entered) he paid for the room with a $100 bill and left without getting his almost $50 in change. Blair was never seen alive again. Then about 12 hours later he was found dead in the hotel parking lot on July 11th, 1996. With no pants and $4,000 in Canadian, American, and German currency around him. So obviously robbery was not the motive. His pants were also removed in a way that someone would rip them off not how you would take them off yourself. Also his socks were found inside out. It appeared that his clothes were taken off post mordem. The cause of his death was determined to be due to a blow to the stomach although he also had many cuts and abrasions on him.
Other strange pieces of this case:
Blair knew no one in Knoxville. Police and is family are baffled why he would even be there in the first place.
Rumour has it that the reason Blair had purchased a ticket to Germany is that at one point he had worked construction there. He was there for apparently about 4 months. He apparently had a fling with a younger woman there (17 or 18). Someone even said who was apparently a close friend of Blair's that people from Germany may of had something to do with his death.
He was also suppose to be working in Germany for 2 years yet came back after a couple of months.
Despite years of drug and alcohol abuse toxicology reports showed he had no signs of drugs or alchoal in his system at the time of his death.
When Blair purchased his plane ticket to Washington, D.C he bought a one way ticket for $700. Yet a round trip ticket was on sale and he could of got it for $400. Even if not coming back why pay more?
It has also been rumoured that Blair was bi-sexual (irrelevant to the case though)
My thoughts on the case: There are many scenarios that could of happened here some say he just went nuts and killed himself. But who kills themself with a blow to the stomach? Others have said it was a sheer coincidence, but why not take the money. Others say someone stalked him all the way to Knoville and killed him.
Others have brought up a theory that during his time in Germany he could of pissed off the girls family he knew. Or on another note doing construction around military bases seen something he shouldn't of due the way he was killed which probably took at least 2 men they must of had military training. If this is the case.
Another great scenario another person brought up was maybe the girl he met in Germany he was going to go and meet there. Then she decided to meet him in the US (Hence trading in the German tickets) then someone from her family followed her and killed Blair.
Personally I think he ripped of a biker gang huge, or ratted someone out, or maybe something worse. And it must of been huge and they wanted to send a message. Biker gangs have ties and branches everywhere. Someone probably followed him to Seattle seen him board the plane there to Washington, D.C faxed a picture to a branch in Washington, D.C and someone associated there followed him from the airport to Knoxville and did him in there. Taking the pants off of someone I have heard is like shoving a rat in someones mouth it is a sign of someone who snitched and a message meant to be sent. Also his shirt being ripped open could of been to see if he was wired. It is probably the most logical thing I can think of.
This is a case I highly doubt will ever be solved and I have scoured the internet to find what I could on it. It is one of those mysteries that just keeps making me scratch my head.
In Bethesda, Maryland on March 10th, 1976 a neighbours of the Bishops notified police that they haven;t heard or seen the Bishop family in about 3 weeks. The neighbour who had a key to their home met with the officer. The officer went to enter the home and noticed blood drops on the front door. When the officer entered the home he seen blood all over the floor and walls of the home. The children's rooms were covered with blood from ceiling to floor. It didn't take police too long to figure out where the Bishop family was.
On March 2nd, 1976 a Forrest ranger just south of Columbia, North Carolina spotted a fire. After the fire was put out he found 5 bodies in there. Later they were determined to be the Bishops. Bishops wife Annette 37, his sons William jr 14, Brenton 10, Geoffrey 5, and his mother Lobelia 68. Along with the bodies the ranger found a gas can, pitchfork, and a shovel. The shovel was later proven to be purchased by Bishop at a hardware store called Poch's where he also purchased the pitchfork.
Police believe that the fact that Bishop didn't get a promotion at work was a major factor into the murders. Also some people have said that he felt tied down with family life and wanted to life free many also said he preferred solitude.. Police believe he fled with the family dog after ditching the station wagon.
On April 10th, 2014 Bishop became the 502nd fugitive to be placed on the FBI's 10 most wanted list which is a little surprising it took that long as William Fisher was on there before him.
About William Bradford Bishop: Bishop was born August 1st, 1936 in Pasadena, California. He had a BS in history and American studies from Yale and a MA in International studies and Italian from Middlebury College. He also studied African Studies at UCLA. He spent four years in the army and is fluent in 5 languages English, French, Italian, Serbo-Croat, and Spanish.
He then worked for the US State department and worked for the US foreign service department spending alot of time overseas.
Bishop also suffered from depression and insomnia and took the drug Serax.

The Murders: Bishop told a secretary at work that he wasn't feeling well and left work early. It is then believed that he drove to the bank and withdrew several hundred dollars. He then went to a Sears and bought a hammer and a gas can. He then went to a hardware store and bought a shovel and a pitchfork before returning home at about 7;30 pm.
Police believe he killed his wife first and then his mother.He then went and killed his sons while they were asleep. Everyone was believed to have been killed with a blunt instrument probably the hammer.
Bishop then loaded the bodies into the family station wagon and drove 6 hours away near Columbia, North Carolina. When there he dug a shallow hole threw the bodies in there poured gasoline on them and then set them on fire.
On March 18th the station wagon was found abandoned in Elkmont, Tennessee. Inside the car was dog biscuits, a bloody blanket, a shotgun, an axe, and a spare tire well in the trunk full of blood. A witness said the vehicle had been there since at least March 7th.
Whereabouts: If Bishop is even still alive he is almost certainly in Europe. Authorities strongly believe that he could be in Italy. He would be 77 years old today.
Sightings:
In 1979 an old co worker of Bishop's claimed he spotted Bishop in a bathroom in Sorento, Italy
In 1978 a Swedish woman who knew Bishop from working with him in Ethiopia claimed that she spotted him twice in Stockholm.
In 1994 neighbours of Bishops claimed that they spotted him on a train platform in Basel, Switzerland.
Other Notables:
On the day of the murders Bishop was spotted buying tennis shoes at a store in Jacksonville, North Carolina with his dog and a dark skin woman. But there is no solid proof of this.
In 2011, WUSA aired a story there were reports he died in Hong Kong and then in France, but police used fingerprints to confirm those reports were false.
On October 9, 2014, the body of an unidentified man who resembled Bishop and was killed in a hit-and-run walking along an Alabama highway in 1981 was exhumed by the FBI in Scotsboro to have its DNA, teeth and fingerprints compared to Bishop's. The DNA test indicated it was not Bishop's body
Investigators discovered Bishops diary where he wrote about wanting to become free and self-sufficient.
Final thoughts: I truly believe Bishop is alive and living a different live in Europe that is my opinion. Back in 1976 sneaking away was alot easier than it is today. But at the same time I read some guys theory on a forum that maybe it was meant to look like he did it. He did work for the government maybe the CIA whacked his family and then killed him right after and leads us on a long goose chase. Whatever happens if he is guilty he is probably the fugitive I want to see caught the most out of anyone and I hope I get to see it when he is alive still and not dead.
On December 29th, 1999 Ashley Freeman's parents Danny and Kathy were celebrating Ashley's 16th birthday with her best fiend Lauria Bible and Ashley's boyfriend Jeremy Hurst. In the town of Vinita, Oklahoma. Hurst left at around 9:30 that night.
Sometime during the night a fire broke out at the house and it was reported to the fire department by a neighbour at around 5:30 am. When the fire department along with Lauria's parents Jay and Lorene they discovered the body of Kathy Freeman. They could not find Danny or the girls and police theorised that Danny had killed Kathy and kidnapped the 2 girls. Yet the next day Jay Bible found Danny's body in the ashes. The authorities came to the conclusion that both Danny and Kathy were shot in the head. Yet the girls were never found. Below is a picture of Jay Bible finding Danny's body in the ashes.
Suspects: The Freeman's did have a big feud with the Welch's sheriff office due to the fact that their son Shane was shot and killed after stealing his uncle's truck and rifle. Although a judge did rule the shooting justafiable. Danny also did tell his bother shortly before his death that if anything were to ever happen to him to look at the sheriff's department. Danny's brother Dwayne Vancil said“He put his finger in my face and he said, ‘If anything ever happens to me, look at the sheriff's department.’ And he was serious. He was in my face to drive it home with me.” The Freeman's also had plans to file a wrongful death suit against the sheriff's department which led to this case being turned over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. A bunch of sheriffs took polygraph tests and all past them but how hard is it for the authorities to help out and lie to help each other.
It was also rumoured that Danny was a small time drug dealer and had issues with a couple of men shortly before his death. Apparently he got angry and told them to leave because one of the men was not welcome near his home. A theory that one or both of the men came back and killed them.
There was also a theory that Ashley killed her parents and fled with Lauria because there was rumours that Ashley and her father did not get along. There was also rumour that Ashley was sexually abused but those were later dismissed. But Lauria's car and purse were left behind and realistically how long could 2 16 year old girls last on the run for so long.
A man on death row named Jeremy Jones(pictured above) confessed to killing Lauria and Ashley to Galena, Kansas and throwing their bodies in an abandoned mine. He claimed to be doing it for a friend for an unpaid drug debt. But that has been proven to be false. Jones later admitted he made the story up to get better food in prison and better phone privileges.
Another man also claimed to of killed them but that again proved to be false.
Another convicted murderer named Tommy Lynn Sells (pictured above) actually wrote a letter to a newspaper claiming to be in a drug induced state and murdered the girls. But that has also came up as probably false. Sells was executed in Texas in April of 2014. For the murder of a 13 year old girl. He committed at least 17 murders while travelling around the United States.
Weird pieces to the puzzle: Lorene Bible talked to the coroner and was told “The county coroner told me that there was only one body, is all they found. I said, ‘Have they found anybody else?’ And she said no. They've looked, but there's no other bodies there.”
Now I am no coroner but I am pretty sure these guys are quite professional usually and do not mess things like this up. That right there looks like a massive cover up.
Danny's brother Dwayne also said the sheriffs department was threatening him and said“He was basically told, according to Danny, that they could do anything they wanted to him and his family, and there wasn't a thing he could do about it.”
A woman named DeAnna Dorsey who was a nurse that assisted in the hospital during the Freeman's son Shane's death, appeared on a show What Really Happened. Which was a show profiling what happened at the Freeman's home that night. Her daughter was a friend of Ashley's. She was shot and killed in the hospital shortly after the taping of the show (which never did air). The authorities said that a schizophrenic named Ricky Martin shot and killed her because he was mad about the hospital downsizing. Martin was killed shortly after by police. Martin had never met Dorsey and some speculate that it had to do with the Freeman's death but that has yet to be proven.
11 years after the murders the police released information about 2 suspicious vehicles seen in the area around the time of the fire. How can anyone remember something like that that happened so long ago. Sounds suspicious.
Additional notes:
Ashley Freeman was declared legally dead October 18th, 2010.
The Freeman's trailer apparently did not have running water. Although it had electricity and telephone service it was primarily heated by a wood stove. It was also heavily stockpiled with guns. The Freeman's were apparently avid hunters and Ashley often assisted her father in hunting for food.
Danny Freeman was known for having a violent temper and was often unemployed. In 1985 he was arrested for assaulting his father inlaw. He was also arrested for abusing his son Shane. Danny claims the acquisitions were overblown and he was acquitted.
The Freeman's son Shane also once broke into the Bible's home stealing Lauria's money and some of their firearms.
Danny Freeman once threatened the lives of police officer David Hayes the police officer that shot and killed his son Shane.
Ashley's boyfriend Jeremy Hurst claimed that Ashley had $4000 saved in a tupperware container in a freezer to buy a car.
Final thoughts: There is no question that the Freeman family was very dysfunctional and weird. Especially the father and the son. I personally believe that this case will never be solved nor will the girls bodies ever be found. It is so hard to tell who could of done this. The police look very guilty but by the sounds of it Danny and Shane probably had many enemies.
I am also a little shocked that the Bible family would allow their daughter to visit a home that was so messed up like that. Regardless if they were best friends or not. I do not know if the Bible's knew about the issues that that Danny Freeman had, but they surely must of been upset that their daughters best friends brother had broken into their home.
But again I think this is one that will never be solved.
Crime: In the spring and summer of 2010 a mad man went on a stabbing spree of random victims mainly in the city of Flint. He tended to attack at night and the men were mainly smaller framed non muscular men. At one point some said that the attacks were racially motivated but if you know the demographics of Flint the city is mainly black. Also not that safe of a city for a white man to be walking alone late at night there.
18 stabbings total occured which resulted in 5 deaths. The culprit would drive around late at night in his Chevy Trailblazer and approach men walking alone and ask them for directionsor help fixing his vehicle. Then he would stab them in the chest or stomach. Police later on also connected crimes in Leesburg, Virginia and Toledo, Ohio to the same ones happening in Flint. Along with the crimes commited in the US the culprit is also suspected of stabbing a man in the face with a screwdriver in his home town of Ramala in Israel.
Culprit Elias Abuelazam (Born August 28th, 1976) is an Arab-Israeli born Christian. He was a large man standing 6'5 and weighing 280 lbs. He later moved to the United States where he aquired a green card but was never an American citizen. He use to work at as a mental health technician in a psychiatric facility in Leesburg, Virginia.
Abuelazam was married for a brief period in 2004-2007 to Jessica Hirth whos family was shocked that he commited the crimes.
Capture: While living in Flint Abuelazam worked at a place called The Kingwater Market. His blazer was caught on video in an attack he commited in Virginia. Once the image of his vehicle was released to the public another employee notified police. She said that a man that worked there drove the same vehicle and matched the description and ironically enough just came back from Virginia.
Abuelazam had left the store and the owner and workers only knew him as Eli as he was paid in cash. But with another stroke of luck an officer wrote him a ticket a few weeks before for selling alchoal to minors. Then they realized he was no where to be found. A shoelace from one of the victims Frank Kellybrew was found in Abuelazam's SUV and murder victim Arnold Minor's blood was found in his SUV also.
The police were able to aquire his cell phone number and pinged him to a tower near the Louisville, Kentucky airport. When they called the airport they found out he was going to Atlanta and then boarding a plane to Tel Aviv, Israel. Right before he could board the plane he was apprahended at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport.
Previous Arrests: In August 5th of 2010 he was arrested in Arlington, Virginia for a traffic violation and had a warrant for his arrest on an assault charge. Then was released shortly after. Federal authorities have not yet responded to his complaint.
Incarceration: Abuelazam was only charged with 3 counts of murder and 6 counts of attempted murder. He is currently housed in Genesee County Jail in solitary confinment. Locked up for 23 hours a day.
Lawsuit for deportation: Abuelazam filed a lawsuit against the federal government asking to be deported back to his native Israel to stand trial for attempted murder there he did back in 2009. The law suit claims that Abuelazam be deported back to his native Israel so he can be convicted of attempted murder.

Crime: The Brown's Chicken Massacre was a sensless mass murder that occured in Palatine, Illinois (Chicago suburb) on January 8th, 1993. It went unsolved for almost 9 years until one of the cowards girlfriends came forward to police about information on the crime. 2 men entered the restaurant and ate right before closing time and then robbed the store (stealing less than $2,000) and killed 7 employees. Shooting 6 and then stabbing 1. More than 2 dozen shots were fired at the employees. They had to empty their weapons and reload a couple of times.
The Culprits:
Juan A Luna Jr. (Born February 16th, 1974): Luna was spared the death penalty due to one juror who held out. Which is total bullshit he should be shot in the back of the head (which would be an easier punishment). Him and his acomplice James Degorski were high school classmates at Palatine's William Fremd High School. Luna was actually a former employee at Brown's Chicken.
James Degorski: Degorski a former handyman (whose former girlfriend turned them in) Was found guilty of all 7 count of murder on September 29th, 2009. There has also been alot of anger with some of the victims families as Degorski recently recieved punitive damages amounting to $451,000 for having a deputy kick his ass. But it is still unclear if Degorski will ever see any of the money.
The Capture: In March of 2002 James Degorski's fomer girlfriend Anne Lockett came forward and told police about the horrific crime the sick fucks committed in 1993 A piece f chicken from the restaurant that was kept from the garbage can the night of the murders as evidence had Luna's DNA on it. Although Luna along with Degorski were taken into custody for the crime on May of 2002 Luna immediately admitted to it. Then lawyers later claimed he only admitted to it for fears of deportation. When the police arrived at the restaurant over 5 hours after the murders they discovered the rear door open. They found 7 bodies in a cooler and walk in refridgerator
